Position Overview:

We are looking for a Visual Designer to join our team and bring a sharp eye for design across product features, new products, marketing assets, and visual QA. In this role, you will design new features and experiences for our products, create scalable social media graphics, and play a critical role in ensuring visual quality across our TruSpeed CMS sites and client content.

The ideal candidate has experience working within design systems and understands atomic design principles. You are comfortable working autonomously, collaborating directly with engineers, and switching seamlessly between product design, marketing execution, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

Product & Feature Design: Create intuitive, high-quality designs for new features and products in Figma.
Social Media Graphics: Design scalable, on-brand assets for paid and organic campaigns, with awareness of platform-specific requirements.
Visual QA – TruSpeed Sites: Conduct detailed visual QA of sites built in our proprietary TruSpeed CMS, ensuring design fidelity and pixel-perfect implementation.
Visual QA – Client Requests: Review client edit requests, blog posting, and SEO updates for consistency, design quality, and accuracy.
Contribute to and evolve our design system, applying atomic design principles to ensure scalability across projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, clearly communicating design decisions and advocating for visual quality.

Qualifications:

Strong eye for visual design with hands-on proficiency in Figma.
Experience working within design systems and applying atomic design principles.
Clear communicator who can collaborate effectively with engineers and think through implementation details.
Ability to work autonomously, balance multiple responsibilities, and deliver consistently high-quality work.
Strong attention to detail, especially when conducting visual QA.
(Nice to have) Experience creating social media or paid media assets, with knowledge of platform requirements.
